THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Twist at Hanohano Restaurant Review: The view from this 30th floor restaurant remains one of the most singular in the islands, commanding a sweep from Diamond Head to the leeward coast with the Pacific Ocean all the way beyond the horizon. The restaurant has been modernized and a cocktail area and wine bar have been added. Another important change is the addition of Ryan Loo (from the well regarded Hoku's) as executive sous chef. He and his team craft a menu focused on flavors and dishes from islands around the world made with local ingredients. The menu changes frequently but the seafood is always a good choice. One thing that doesn't change is our recommendation that you reserve a window table just before sunset when the room takes on a glorious golden glow.
