We recommend the sambar and the alu bonda appetizers, and crave the masala dhosas (thin rice crêpes filled with piquant potatoes and onion slices). The mango lassi is a delicious drink, and if you want to overindulge on sweets, stop by the sweetmeats counter on the way out; it features numerous Indian candies and pastries. This place is a real treat; chances are you’ll have better luck getting a seat during the week or at off-hours. Weekends are especially busy.
