Ulah Bistro Restaurant Review: A hot-spot for twentysomething’s, Ulah is among the array of edgy restaurants and nighttime destinations on the U Street corridor. Unlike some of its competitors, however, it offers a downstairs dining area and an upstairs lounge, plus late-night hours. Its signature dishes are the wood-grilled pizzas---these may well be the best offerings in the house. Entrées of chicken, steak and seafood and a pasta dish are offered for good measure. Main course salads include seared tuna and a Caesar. If you are part of the DC scene, you won’t mind the noise and hustle-bustle, but if you want a quiet meal and time to chat, consider another destination. |
