THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED V. Majestic Restaurant Review:

This cozy, long-lived Vietnamese restaurant draws Allston's large community of starving students. Between the TV on the counter airing local sporting events and the wall decorations---a mix of calendars from Asian markets and travel posters from Europe---it has an offbeat charm. The owner-host-waiter scurries about taking orders and quickly clearing tables, so even if you have to wait, it won't be long. The kitchen turns out a nice, thick rice chowder with chicken and a number of good vermicelli dishes; we also get a kick out of the “glowing beef” and fried bananas for dessert.
