Vallozzi's Restaurant Review: Ernie Vallozzi, a restaurateur known for community involvement, opened his flagship restaurant, Vallozzi’s, in 1978, and it remains popular with locals and visiting business travelers. The 250-seat dining room boasts a Mediterranean-inspired décor as a backdrop to a vast menu of Italian specialties. Also, a totally redesigned wine bar, the Rosso Bianco Wine Bar, underscores the restaurant's wine-centric nature. Casual pizzas and pastas share menu space with veal, lamb, chicken, hand-cut fish and dry-aged beef. The kitchen is known for handmade pastas, and the longtime chef adds a contemporary twist to traditional Italian standards. Bread pudding with caramel sauce stars on the dessert list.
