It's easy to forget you are in Vegas at Verandah. The restaurant at the Four Seasons exudes elegance, its outside vista is design-friendly with an outdoor patio and lushly-landscaped pool. Inside, the restaurant is decked out in warm woods including Hawaiian koa, bamboo- and grasscloth-covered walls adorned with floral photos, and lounge-friendly banquettes. The bar is just as cozy, small at eight seats and back-lit by decorative glass. The lovely ambience enhances the menu featuring takes on regional Italian favorites such as Kobe tartare with rocket greens, mustard caponata, Chianti balsamico and crostini. The elegant brunch is popular for its variety of dishes such as citrus ricotta pancakes or classic eggs Benedict or lox platter. A mini version of the frozen freezer classic, the Eskimo pie, melts the soul, vanilla ice cream coated in chocolate and finished with roasted nuts---better than you ever remembered it. Reservations are required one day prior for the traditional English afternoon tea, presented Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. |
