Via Veneto Restaurant Review: Pleasant, affordable dining is what you get at Via Veneto. A neighborhood kind of place, it's inhabited by lots of regulars. Much of the staff speaks Italian, so if you need to practice before heading off to Italy (or want a taste when the cost of a flight is out of reach), this is the place to come. The menu is peppered with traditional dishes --- calamari, caprese salad, ravioli in meat sauce --- but if you look closely you'll also find char-broiled octopus with balsamic and olive oil and hand-made spinach-and-veal-stuffed cappellacci cloaked in tomato cream. Unfortunately, service can be hit or miss.
