Duck fat fries with cheese sauce, lobster mac with Fontina and mascarpone, and a chocolate shake are a few of the offerings. Then there's the Whiskey King ten-ounce burger, a behemoth bathed in maple bourbon glaze and topped with bacon and blue cheese. Weekend brunch is similarly filling, with such dishes as bacon-cheddar biscuits with gravy and a short-rib skillet with duck-fat potato hash and a poached egg. A vast selection of more than 80 browns, from single malts to peaty imports, gives the restaurant its name. While you can order your whiskey neat, or with just a splash of water, whiskey-based cocktails are also offered, such as the classic old fashioned. Just try to resist.
