| Noted for its massive neon road sign, this Inland Empire landmark---it was founded in 1945---is the place to go for oversized portions of spaghetti or mostaccioli bathed in marinara sauce from a family recipe. Hardly an intimate trattoria, Vince's is a sprawling, multi-room, diner-like space seating over 400, where waitresses use rolling carts to deliver the mountains of pasta to Formica tables filled with families. The menu is short, as the kitchen sticks to what it does best. The prices---dinners with soup, salad and garlic bread come in under $10---are as nostalgic as the menu. Also located at 28145 Jefferson Ave., Temecula, 951-587-2782; and 8241 Foothill Blvd., Rancho Cucamonga, 909-981-1003. |
