Vortex Bar & Grill Restaurant Review: All manner of memorabilia line the walls, from airplanes, skeletons on motorcycles, old license plates and a big moose head for starters. The visual stimulation entertains as you wait for your food. At both locations of Vortex, the big, fat, juicy burgers are the main act. These include not only those made from beef, but also turkey and beans for vegetarian diners. Besides burgers, you'll find chicken, fish and shrimp options plus generous deli sandwiches. Good beers on tap and by the bottle, plus single-malt Scotches, flesh out the libations options. Since Atlanta's no-smoking ban requires a smoking establishment to set an age limit, both Vortex restaurants no longer admit persons under the age of 18.
