THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Walnut Brewery Restaurant Review:

One of the original outlets for the now expansive Rock Bottom Restaurants chain, the Walnut continues to shine as a solid example of brewpub success. The high-ceiling room is attractive and spacious, perfect for handling the buzz of crowds of diners, drinkers and beer geeks. The eats contingent comes in for grade-A bar fare and slightly upscale entrées, much of which can be found at the company’s Rock Bottom Brewery locations. Burgers, sandwiches, ribs and soup & salad plates are good, there are also tasty quesadillas, the ever-popular Asiago-artichoke cheese dip and the house’s signature fish & chips. The beers are also of upper-end caliber. The brown ale is caramel sweet, the stout is a rich oatmeal version. Seasonal beers can be exceptional, especially the more assertive wintertime treats.
