Washoku of LA Restaurant Review:
Washoku of LA in Studio City is a concept from chef Katsuya Uechi’s Katsu-ya Group (Katsu-ya, The Izaka-ya by Katsu-ya, Kiwami). It is only open for take-out and delivery.
Washoku, which translates to “food of Japan,” is traditional Japanese cuisine that has been honed and passed down over centuries. Expect to order such dishes as donburi (rice bowls), shabu shabu (hot pot), sushi, tempura and more.
