Watch City Brewing Co. Restaurant Review: A lively, wide-open room with big windows and huge framed posters on the walls, this brewpub is a nice, easygoing change of pace from the more adventurous majority along Waltham's restaurant row. The house beer selection is small but pleasing, dominated by ales along with a stout or two; seasonal beers and bottled options round it out. The huge selection of decent bar snacks and burgers doesn't try to be something it's not, which is why we prefer it to many of the overdone entrées. Because of its proximity to the movie theatre, weekends can get rowdy with show-goers; plan accordingly. |
