Whispers Restaurant Restaurant Review: Located in the nineteenth-century Victorian Hewitt Wellington hotel, Whispers Restaurant overlooks Spring Lake, providing a cozy, intimate dining room polished with chandeliers and fine furniture. Among the entrées, opt for the double cut pork chop with a balsamic glaze accented with caramelized peaches and grilled red onions. Another option is the Chilean sea bass bouillabaisse, the seafood and vegetables awash in a heady saffron tomato and anise broth. Sadly, the wine list is woefully small to accommodate the tempting menu selections. The dessert choices will delight; we recommend the lemon napoleon with sweet and tangy lemon mousse layered between sheets of pistachio-dusted puff pastry, the whole topped with a fresh cranberries and Mandarin orange sauce.
