Whispers Restaurant Restaurant Review: Located in the nineteenth-century Victorian Hewitt Wellington hotel, Whispers Restaurant overlooks Spring Lake, providing a cozy, intimate dining room polished with chandeliers and furniture fit for royalty. Among the entrées, opt for chef Scott Giordano’s signature dishes---sautéed shrimp in a honey red curry sauce served with a toothsome black bean cake and grilled pita bread or broiled Chilean sea bass in a citrus butter sauce accompanied by baby bok choy and rock shrimp mashed potatoes. Bring that bottle of wine you’ve been saving for something special. The food here will do it justice, and Whispers doesn't charge a corkage fee. For dessert, the lemon napoleon is a standout with lemon mousse layered between sheets of pistachio-dusted puff pastry, topped with a fresh blueberry and Mandarin orange sauce.
