This tiny spot on MGM Grand’s Studio Walk is the brainchild of chef Tom Colicchio, whose fine-dining Craftsteak is a few steps away. In this replica of his New York City ’wichcraft, the fare features hearty sandwiches (Sicilian tuna; meatloaf with cheddar, bacon and tomato relish), salads and a soup of the day that might be butternut squash or creamy sweet corn. Among breakfast sandwiches served all day are skirt steak with fried eggs and oyster mushrooms. Sweets like the whoopie pie (chocolate pound cake with vanilla cream) cap the offerings, complemented by a variety of beverages, such as soft drinks, iced and hot cappuccino, lattes and tea, plus beer and wine.
