It seems most everyone is wild about Harry's hot dogs and frozen custard. The grumpy among us think it's just another hot dog stand and the frozen custard's not much different from soft serve ice cream. But we're the few. The line is almost always out the door, kids love it and the hot dogs are made from good quality meat. The timeless New York combo of sauerkraut, onions and mustard or the Great Southwest Fire Dog made with spicy polish sausage and dressed up with cayenne pepper, pickles, tomatoes and relish are always good bets. The one thing this location has over the original on Knox is parking: there's plenty of it. Also located at 3113 Knox St., Dallas, 214-520-3113.
