Willow Wood Market Cafe Restaurant Review: The tiny hamlet of Graton (just west of Santa Rosa) barely registers as a blip on most travelers' radar screens, but savvy diners find their way to Willow Wood Market Café for down-home, Sunday supper-type food. The menu features daily specials such as corn chowder or Thai-spiced salmon; roasted chicken and grilled rib-eye steak for bigger appetites; and creamy signature polenta dishes such as the pork tenderloin ragoût with shiitake and brown mushrooms, leeks and sweet peppers. Willow Wood is an especially good place for wake-up fare, too, with an extensive breakfast menu and special additions for Sunday brunch --- think ham and Jarlsberg-stuffed french toast topped with berries and maple butter, Florentine eggs and mimosas. Environs-wise, hardwood floors, simple bistro tables, and a tight bar feel nostalgic and country-like. Only the wine list reveals an urbane underbelly. Loosen your belt before heading off to nearby wineries.
