THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Wine Spectrum Bar & Shop Restaurant Review

: Wine Spectrum Bar & Shop in Railroad Square gets the wine bar concept right. It’s a boutique stocked with a few dozen small production world bottlings for carry-out. But it’s more fun to uncork on the spot with a myriad of tapas, cheeses, charcuterie, panini and salads. Reds merit lean shaved meats served on a ceramic artist’s palette with dabs of port-reduced cherries and marinated shiitakes. A real stand-out: smoked duck, Brie and sliced strawberry bruschetta on spinach with Pinot Noir reduction. Dine in the functional cellar, browsing novel labels and posted wine reviews, or settle into the hip but unpretentious lounge; a tubular, fully-loaded wine rack wall divides the space yet keeps both halves connected.
