THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Winestein's Cafe & Wine Market Restaurant Review:
Surely it makes sense to order a cheese flight in Wisconsin, and here it comes as a sampling of three gourmet cheeses, served with crackers and sliced bread. A comfortable retreat with a fine collection of wine and beer, Winestein’s also has a lengthy menu with plenty of salads, panini, wraps and sandwiches. We recommend the Nashtotah Blues salad with field mix, dried cherries, candied walnuts, sliced apples, sesame nuggets, blue cheese and warm raspberry vinaigrette. The Ashippun Shores wrap is a hit, too, with crab meat, romaine, tomato, red onion, bacon, cucumber and creamy dill sauce. For dinner, try Winestein’s ribs, one half rack of baby-backs banked in sweet onion barbecue sauce with three-cheese risotto and a side salad. If you’re craving seafood, go for the yellowfin tuna atop pasta with tomatoes, chives, kalamata olives, feta cheese, white wine, garlic and onions.
