Yoshiya Restaurant Review:

A project from famous Japanese singer-songwriter Yoshi Ikuzo, Yoshiya presents diners with stylish Japanese cuisine, beyond-fresh sushi and sumptuous omakase menus. The large restaurant, located on the second floor of the Sheraton Waikiki, encompasses a main dining room with ambient lanterns, private rooms and a traditional sushi bar. The set menus range from simple noodle dishes to sukiyaki, shabu shabu and seafood specialties accompanied by tempura, miso soup, dessert and other side dishes. Sushi is also available à la carte. In addition to Mai Tais, there's a complete selection of saké, shochu and creative mixed drinks. If you're undecided, opt for the saké sampler, which offers a progressive tasting of three styles.
