Order from the cafeteria-style counter and grab a seat fast --- cramped tables are first-come, first-serve. The Middle Eastern and Mediterranean fare at this Pioneer Square eatery attracts large crowds of business types for lunches of tasty falafel, shwarma, gyros and entrée plates. Favorites include the mixed vegetable sandwich with tender roasted eggplant, cauliflower and potatoes wrapped in a warm, grilled-to-order pita with house-made hummus, all dressed with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, chickpeas and a spicy sauce. Other good options are chicken mishwi, aka Middle Eastern rotisserie, a classic tabbouleh salad, and thick, flavorful lentil soup. If you've never tried real Turkish coffee and authentic baklava, this is the place to do it. At night, Zaina transitions from café to club with hookahs, low lights, and a DJ blaring music.
