Dining room at Zinc Wine Bar & Bistro, Albuquerque, NMZinc Wine Bar & Bistro is built on three levels---a cozy cellar bar, the main dining room at street level and a mezzanine that provides a bird’s-eye view of the action below. Its proprietors are twins Keith and Kevin Roessler, who ran Seasons Rotisserie & Grill near Old Town for their uncle for many years. Their experience shows in a sophisticated seasonal menu that favors the bold, by turns rich and pungent. Signature smoked trout-potato pancakes go yin-yang with crème fraîche and truffle vinaigrette, as do smoked chicken crêpes smothered in both Gorgonzola béchamel and red chile. Entrées are divided between bistro classics like steak frites and seasonal specials such as Boursin-wild mushroom tart with sunchoke purée, tomato-vodka coulis and braised greens. Desserts tend toward the decadent as well, often laced with booze, from Cognac crème brûlée to hot toddies with vanilla bean and honey. The lengthy, well-rounded wine list, meanwhile, is designed for pairing and sharing, with an emphasis on selections by the glass, half-glass and carafe on the one hand and flights on the other. Adding to the fun, Zinc hosts a variety of events weekly, from Monday martinis and movies to Wednesday wine and cheese tastings to chicken-and-waffle specials on Sunday.

Not worth any star

This was the worst dining experience ever! There are other places.

The food was pastey. The service horrible and the manager was very arrogant when I complained to him about the experience.

So do not go there as it is overpriced as to everything and there are better restaurant not far from this one.
