The scent of smoky barbecued chicken, ribs and seafood accented by the house-made sauce wafts through the neighborhood and the food keeps customers coming back. For a fun appetizer, order the Pu Pu Platter --- Polynesian hors d'oeuvres with chicken drumettes, ribs, jumbo shrimp, egg rolls, onion rings, coleslaw and a roll. Don’t neglect to get the rib kebabs. If you're not in the mood for barbecue, select from among other menu items, such as pizza, burgers, fried clams and shrimp, perch, catfish and jumbo frogs’ legs, Hawaiian or Southern fried chicken, as well as such sides as fries, deep-fried mushrooms, potato salad and scallops (yes, scallops are a side). Save room for desserts like carrot cake, cookies and brownies.
