St. Michaels Charities will be sponsoring WineFest at St. Michaels 2012 on April 28-29, 2012, from noon-5 p.m. in St. Michaels. WineFest is a festival of food and wine, with tastings and food offerings at seven different pouring venues throughout St. Michaels. Over 300 wines will be poured and all will be available for purchase. A unique festival for wine buyers, WineFest at St. Michaels is a streetscape event with dining, shopping and lodging options all throughout the town. WineFest at St. Michaels benefits local charities including The St. Michaels Food Bank, The St. Michaels Community Center, The Benedictine School and Project Healing Waters. VIP Tastings will take place onboard The Patriot cruise ship which will be taking one hour VIP tasting cruises on the beautiful Miles River (the cruise alone is a $24.50 value). The Garrett County Fairgrounds will host the Deep Creek Lake Art & Wine Festival on September 8, 2012 from noon until 6 p.m. Wines will be available for purchase, with all proceeds donated to charity. Browse handcrafted jewelry and sample delicious artisan bites while tasting a variety of wines from over 200 Maryland and national wineries. Entry is $25 per person, plus tax, for adults. Mondays & Second Wednesdays
Ze Mean Bean hosts a themed wine dinner on the second Wednesday of the month starting at 7 p.m. Dinner tickets cost $75 per person and reservations are recommended. In addition, every Monday starts with a 12 for 12 deal featuring twelve selected wines for twelve dollars with the purchase of an entrée. Tuesdays & Saturdays

Tuesdays
