June 9-10 The Annapolis Arts and Crafts Festival at The Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium combines not just the largest collection of artists and craftsmen ever presented at a festival in Annapolis, but features a Wine and Specialty Food Pavilion that rivals other wine festivals in size and scope. Over fifteen Maryland wineries will be represented, each offering a selection of their special wines: Boordy Vineyards, Cove Point Winery, Cygnus Wine Cellars, Far Eastern Shore Winery, Fiore Winery and Distillery, Friday's Creek Winery, Great Shoals Winery, Harford Vineyard, Layton's Chance Vineyard and Winery, Linganore Winecellars, Perigeaux Vineyard and Winery, Port of Leonardtown Winery, Romano Vineyard and Winery, Running Hare Vineyard, Slack Winery, Solomons Island Winery and Woodhall Wine Cellars. So it's a day of shopping for arts and crafts from over 200 artists employing a variety of medium: painting, sculpture, ceramics, digital art, mixed media, printmaking, jewelry, fiber art, glass, wood, leather, metal and photography --- while enjoying a glass of Maryland wine (or purchase a bottle or two to take home).
