Iron Horse 2007 Classic Vintage Brut
Russian River Valley, California
Despite the equestrian motif on the bottle, Iron Horse is named for a train that stopped at nearby Ross Station at the turn of the twentieth century. Their 2007 Classic Vintage Brut is composed of 75 per cent Pinot Noir and 25 per cent Chardonnay. Offering a perfectly dry mouthfeel, it boasts flavors of apple and pear with yeasty notes on the finish. Enjoy it as an aperitif or with roast turkey.
