To celebrate the day for those of us who like cocktails, happening on every year on March 24, find below five cocktail recipes, each with a different spirit.

1. Almost Famous | Gin

INGREDIENTS
– 1.5 oz. Empress 1908 Gin BUY NOW!
– 0.5 oz. St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
– 0.5 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
– 0.5 oz. simple syrup
– 2 to 3 oz. chilled Champagne (enough to top the glass)
Glass: Flute
Garnish: Lemon twist
METHOD
• In a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes, pour the gin, St-Germain, simple syrup and lemon juice.
• Shake well.
• Strain into a chilled Champagne flute.
• Slowly fill with Champagne.
• Garnish with a lemon twist.

2. Broken Cosmo | Vodka

INGREDIENTS
– 1.5 oz Broken Shed Vodka
– 0.75 oz orange liqueur
– 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
– 0.5 oz unsweetened cranberry juice
– 0.5 oz simple syrup
– 1 lemon twist
Garnish: 1 lime twist
METHOD
• Add ingredients into a shaker with ice.
• Shake and double strain into a chilled coupe.
• Garnish with a lime twist.

– 12 oz. (1.5 cups) Broken Shed Vodka
– 6 oz. (3/4 cup) sweetened cranberry juice
– 6 oz. (3/4 cup) orange liqueur
– 2 oz. (1/4 cup) fresh lime juice

3. Snowman’s Mojito | Pineau des Charentes

INGREDIENTS
- 0.75 oz. Pineau des Charentes Coq D’Or
– 0.25 oz. unsweetened coconut milk (recommended to use Aroy-D Thai coconut milk after straining any solids – this one has no sweetening and doesn’t curdle when added to the cocktail)
– 0.5 oz. lime juice
– 0.5 oz. simple syrup
– 0.75 oz. white Rum
METHOD
• Add ingredients to the shaker tin with 9-10 muddled mint leaves.
• Shake hard.
• Put the contents of shaker tin (mint leaves and all) into a glass.
• Garnish with mint sprig and pomegranate seeds.

4. Kilinga Espresso Martini | Kilinga Bacanora

INGREDIENTS
– 1 ½ oz. Kilinga Silvestre
– ½ oz. triple sec
– 2 oz. espresso
– ¼ oz. simple syrup
– 2 (per serve) orange slices
METHOD
• Add ice, ingredients, and 2 slices of fresh orange to the shaker and shake vigorously.
• Fine strain into a cocktail glass.
• Add a light dust of cinnamon and a twist of orange for aromatics.

5. Mezcal Bliss | Mezcal

INGREDIENTS
– 2 oz. Hedonistas de la Fe Mezcal
– 1 oz. fresh lime juice
– 1 oz. spiced honey syrup (recipe below)
– 1/2 oz. egg white (optional for a frothy texture)
– 2 dashes orange bitters
– dehydrated lime wheel (for garnish)
– grated nutmeg (for a festive touch)
Spiced Honey Syrup
– 1/2 cup honey
– 1/2 cup water
– 1 cinnamon stick
– 3 cloves
– 1 star anise
METHOD
• In a small saucepan, combine honey, water, and spices.
• Simmer gently for 10 minutes, then cool and strain.
• In a shaker, add mezcal, lime juice, spiced honey syrup, egg white (if using), and orange bitters.
• Dry shake (without ice) for 20 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
• Add ice and shake again until chilled.
• Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
• Garnish with a dehydrated lime wheel and a light dusting of nutmeg for a festive finish.
