The UnCommons Unwind Tuesday evening series at the Uncommons urban campus in southwest Las Vegas is offering discounts and entertainment at some of its restaurants through the end of May.

Specials include:
Wineaux: 25% off bottles of wine, plus specials on wines and bites. Local singer and current contestant on The Voice Jessica Manalo performs in Wineaux’s outdoor patio from 6 to 8 p.m.
Urth Caffé: buy-one-get-one free dinner entrées with purchase of two beverages.
General Admission: buy-one-get-one free tacos, specialty cocktail deals and a live DJ spinning Latin beats starting at 6 p.m.
AMARI Italian Kitchen & Wine Shop: daily happy hour from 3 to 5:30 in the bar, lounge and patio with six different appetizers priced from $5-$18, Peroni beer for $6, cocktail of the day for $13, spritz of the day for $12 and select red and white wines by the glass for $11.
Siempre J.B.: all-day taco Tuesday with options of chicken tinga, avocado, carnitas, crispy fish, shrimp and carne asada for $5 each.

Don’s Prime steakhouse at Fontainebleau Las Vegas will host a five-course wine pairing dinner featuring Napa Valley’s Quintessa presented by winemaker Rebekah Wineburg.

Courses will include:
– Osetra caviar with potato rösti and chive cream paired with Veuve Clicquot “La Grande Dame” 2015;
– hamachi crudo with grilled peach and tomato consommé matched with Illumination Sauvignon Blanc 2022;
– seared duck breast with lentils, chanterelles and charred strawberry bordelaise paired with two magnum-poured vintages of Quintessa from 2013 and 2016;
– Snake River Farms New York strip with Don’s signature side dishes matched with Quintessa 2021;
– and a curated selection of mignardises.

Fogo de Chão will host a four-course chef-curated experience featuring bold, innovative wines from The Prisoner Wine Company.

Pairings are:

  • chilled gazpacho and romaine Caesar wedge salad topped with avocado-lime dressing and polenta salmon croûtons paired with Blindfold Blanc de Noir
  • pan-seared sea bass with buttered black pepper and creamy mashed potatoes matched with The Prisoner Pinot Noir
  • churrasco cuts of fraldinha and picanha accompanied with crispy polenta and caramelized bananas paired with The Prisoner Red Blend
  • indulgent churrasco cuts of wagyu porterhouse and lamb picanha accompanied with roasted cauliflower with parmesan crust matched with The Prisoner Cabernet Sauvignon
  • and Brazilian passion fruit mousse topped with a crisp puff pastry served with coffee.

Buddy Valastro’s Cake Boss Café

Lip Smacking Foodie Tours has launched a new tour: The Celebrity Chef Tour.

The 2.5 hour afternoon dining experience includes visits to four celebrity chef restaurants: Buddy Valastro’s Cake Boss Café within the LINQ Hotel for fresh mozzarella and a Jersey Roast Beef sandwich on fresh baked bread with warm au jus, Gordon Ramsay’s Fish & Chips at the LINQ Promenade for the classic United Kingdom street food coated in a special custard powder batter served with French fries and tartar sauce, Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar at the LINQ Hotel for trash can nachos and Koreatown’ short rib tacos, and Dominique Ansel Vegas at Caesars Palace for pastries and crispy and caramelized cronuts (cross between a French croissant and an American donut formed into a muffin-like shape) Ansel is known for.

The Cabinet of Curiosities is hosting weekly mixology masterclass.

The Cabinet of Curiosities at Horseshoe Las Vegas, the immersive bar and speakeasy known for its collection of rare and precious things from around the world, has debuted a weekly mixology masterclass.

The 90-minute program includes a presentation on the history, flavor profiles and techniques of crafting two classic cocktails. Guests will have a host of spirits, mixers and garnishes to craft their own custom cocktail while guided by an expert mixologist. Classes cover essential tools, techniques and terminology of mixology; how to balance flavors and fashion harmonious cocktails; how to create unique and innovative cocktails that reflect personal style; and the art of garnishing and presentation to enhance the visual appeal of cocktails.
