THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bourbon St. Restaurant Review:

Not to be confused with the Big Easy-themed eatery in the Theater District of the (almost) same name, this West Village Southern restaurant serves up all the classics you’d expect to find from a venue named after New Orleans' most famous street. And they do it fairly well---whether you start your day off with a hearty breakfast (the eggs with spicy sausage gravy and grits are memorable) or stop in for lunch or dinner, there’s always a crunchy, artery-hardening meal awaiting your open mouth. The pulled pork sandwich has a subtle and surprising kick to it and the creamy mac ‘n’ cheese is laden with fried green tomatoes. Even the salad---the Bourbon blue salad---comes topped with crispy onion rings. The hot pink walls and massive picture windows (overlooking Hudson Street) make for a pleasant meal.
