Buceo 95 Restaurant Review:
An ideal spot for after-concert tapas and wine, Buceo 95 extends to its guests a hearty “bienvenidos.” A Spanish small-plates feast might start with a glass of wine and assorted Spanish cheeses, followed by grilled baby octopus over saffron piquillo mashed potatoes, churrasco con salsa verde, or dates stuffed with chorizo and goat cheese. Lighter appetites might choose from a number of Spanish pintxos, nibbles to pair with a bold tempranillo. If you can’t score one of the high-topped tables, as the small restaurant is always crowded and lively, a seat at the bar will work quite well. Bring a group of friends because you’ll want to try as many dishes as possible. Thirty-nine European and South American wines are available by the quartino, along with a selection of port, sherry and Champagne. And don’t bypass Buceo 95’s flan, a house specialty.
