THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cafe Harvard Square Restaurant Review:
Located on the edge of charming Claremont Village, Café Harvard Square is dominated by a sprawling stone patio beneath a green awning. When it's nice outside, few people voluntarily sit indoors, even with its cozy French country inn ambience. The dinner menu is extensive, with French-inspired starters such as a seafood crêpe filled with shrimp, crab, bay scallops and mushrooms, as well as baked Brie in pastry with apples. A respectable sea bass filet arrives nicely plated and topped with tomatoes and a lemon dill sauce. Pasta dishes like fettuccine with chicken, sun-dried tomatoes and sherry wine are available, too. Desserts are equally European, ranging from crème brûlée to tarte Tatin to chocolate mousse. The wine list is attractively priced, with nearly three dozen wines served by the glass.
