Chefs Club Counter Restaurant Review:

Conceived by Stephane De Baets, this offshoot of Chefs Club features a global chef concept as well, but with a casual and comfort food spin on the original. The airy and contemporary space features banquette seating, an open kitchen and a streamlined counter/bar area. Among an international group of top chefs is Alvin Cailan of the wildly popular Eggslut in Los Angeles who brings items inspired by breakfast favorites, like "The Chef" (thick-cut bacon and sunny side up egg over toast) and "The Farmer" (sautéed asparagus, sunny side up egg and avocado spread over seven-grain toast) to the menu. Jean-Georges Vongerichten offers classics such as the "JG Burger" with grass-fed beef, pepper jack cheese, avocado, crispy red onions and Russian dressing. Diners can look forward to duck rice with chorizo, olives and citrus purée courtesy of chef George Mendes, and everything from fried chicken to creative takes on tater tots, too. The eclectic and affordable wine list and beers provide ample pairing opportunities.
