THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Costa del Sol Restaurant Review:
Located on the edge of the Theater District, this Spanish restaurant lacks the kitschy charm that most of its peers boast. And that's a good thing. The no-frills, unpretentious eatery puts more focus on the food, which is mostly concentrated on the cuisine of Galicia, a region in northwest Spain. Brothers Antonio and Luis Diaz, owners and Galicia natives, go from table to table making sure everyone is happy. And how could a diner not be? With dishes like lobster paella, grilled octopus, shrimp in garlic sauce, and clams in a fresh tomato sauce, it's hard to walk out hungry. The wine list is filled with affordable Spanish wines, including a handful of whites from Galicia. The décor (a drop ceiling like you might find in an office and several incongruent Spanish-themed art prints) might not make you want to linger, but the Iberian comfort cuisine will.
