THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Falcon Restaurant Review:
This hip restaurant is located in a converted Craftsman-style bungalow. A liberal use of lacquered wood, shag carpets and clean-lined booths give the place a Rat Pack-era look, although the name actually refers to Rudolph Valentino's home, the Falcon Lair. In addition, a patio is anchored by a freestanding fireplace. Chef Guillermo Perez's comfort cuisine features items such as fried calamari and plantain chips with chipotle aïoli, mac ‘n’ cheese, thick-cut rib-eye with horseradish crème, and a solid burger with cheddar. There are also a handful of wood-fired pizzas topped with fennel sausage or roasted sweet peppers. A few wines are available, though cocktails are the way to go. The hip, sexy scene satisfies guests’ desire to be a part of the L.A. nightlife milieu, all the while indulging in some leisurely dining within an old-world dining room.
