Backlit acrylic panels and Day-Glo lighting make this corner spot look more Asian cosmetics hub than Cantonese restaurant. Chinatown's young and groovy convene here for many variations of congee and mini-wok dishes-the food arrives sizzling. For more pedestrian tastes there's also the familiar, from sweet and sour pork to chow fun noodles. Late-night eaters note: Funky Broome is open until midnight seven days a week.
