Le Petit Thiou Restaurant Review:
After her wild success with her namesake restaurant, Thiou, chef to the stars, has moved to more lush quarters next door and made this restaurant into a smaller, more budget conscious address. Service is soigné, and the red and gold décor puts you in the mood for a lovely dining experience. Two of Thiou's signature dishes are on this menu (as they are on the one next door): Le Tigre Qui Pleure (or a grilled filet of beef) and Crevettes Grillées accompanied by her redolent and savory rice. There is a two-course €29 menu at lunch. The whole tomatoes stuffed with perfumed mushrooms and chicken is a wonder, as is the grilled rascasse in a citronelle sauce. Desserts are copious, beautiful and pleasing to the palate.
