At François Payard's new Long Island branch in the glitzy Americana Shopping Center in Manhasset, chef de cuisine John Randazzo Jr. (of Payard Bistro and Cello) makes contemporary French food similar to the Manhattan original. You'll find the signature bouillabaisse, warm chicken salad and foie gras terrine, along with, of course, Payard's inimitable desserts. This Payard serves brunch---the outpost makes a decadent pitstop for those on their way to or from the Hamptons, and it's a lot closer than his third location in São Paulo, Brazil.
