Part of the Michael “Bao” Huynh army---the Vietnamese-born chef has managed to open a small empire of eateries in New York City---this Lower East Side burger joint serves up that classic American sandwich with an Asian twist. Sitting next to ketchup on the eight-stool countertop, for instance, is spicy sriracha sauce. The lamb burger, though, needs no extra condiments: topped with mint chutney and jalapeños and coupled with the soft buttered bun, the burger is good enough to inspire repeat visits. The signature burger is made with beer and comes with a mound of corned beef hash atop. There are also hot dogs and creative milk shakes (Vietnamese coffee, avocado, black sesame).
