Aretsky's Patroon Restaurant Review:

There’s a manly air at Patroon, but a well-polished one. Oversize martinis and a meat-heavy menu get right to the point, a pleasing factor for a clientele of business brokers. Over plates of oysters, Caesar salad, specialty fish dishes and 35-day dry-aged sirloin steak, ties are loosened and work wound down. Sweet endings include panna cotta and tiramisu. Patroon’s ace card is upstairs on the roof. In fact, it is the roof. Although not blessed with a view, the dining area is nonetheless a rare treat. The wine list is formidable and, like the food, pricey.
