Rocco Steakhouse Restaurant Review:

This Murray Hill steakhouse is a palace of meat. High ceilings and comfortable leather chairs create a nice atmosphere. Start with a dirty martini or a glass of wine from the lightly priced wine list while perusing the menu. Kick off the meal with an order of refreshing stone crab, good enough that you don’t necessarily need to dip it in the accompanying cocktail sauce. And then await the big event: steak. We recommend the filet mignon, but first-time visitors should not overlook the thick bone-in porterhouse (and please order it medium-rare). Non-steak eaters may try the juicy broiled salmon and, for big spenders, the jumbo whole lobster. Key lime pie is a sweet ending, especially accompanied by Rocco’s house-made schlag.
