The Roof Garden Restaurant Review: About the restaurant: A secluded spot at the top of The Peninsula Beverly Hills, The Roof Garden features a haven from bustling Beverly Hills below. Sweeping city views, a 60-foot swimming pool surrounded by heated limestone tiles and a chef's vegetable and herb garden make for a surreal setting. Guests can gather around the fire pit or at the bar to enjoy cocktails or appetizers from the California-influenced menu.
Food & Drinks: At lunch and dinner, guests might encounter starters such as ahi tuna poke or chilled watermelon salad with feta, pickled rind and house-grown mint. Main dishes range from whole stuffed branzino to hanger steak chimichurri to a black bean quinoa burger. Desserts of cheesecake and house-made churros provide a sweet finale. On weekend nights during the summer, The Roof Garden serves a barbecue menu with Pabst Blue Ribbon beer can chicken, Oaxaca-style smoked beef ribs and house-made s’mores. Cocktails include a blueberry Moscow mule, pomegranate and raspberry mojito and a margarita spiked with jalapeño. As The Roof Garden is next to the Peninsula Spa, high-end supplements can be added to the fresh juice menu. |
