This little neighborhood spot boasts a modest but charming dining room with a mural of the Japanese countryside and small collection of flower-topped tables, some of which spill out onto a pedestrian arcade. Either at tables or at the small L-shaped sushi bar, you'll get respectable sushi for the price. Combination plates with sashimi, tempura, sushi or teriyaki are about $10, and the service from the mom-and-pop owners is generally delightful. A vegan menu, featuring brown rice, tofu and sea and root vegetables, is also available.
