The menu may make you think there’s nothing exciting here---just the usual old French favorites---but North African spices (the owners are from Tunis) bring the food up several notches. In a spare and narrow room done in warm Mediterranean colors, try, perhaps, cumin-perfumed pumpkin soup, moist salmon, saffron-scented linguine with scallops, or couscous with veal meatballs and a fiery Tunisian harissa sauce.
