THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Terrance Brennan's Seafood & Chop House Restaurant Review:

At a time when the city is in financial straits, Terrance Brennan has eschewed the Mediterranean and French flair that made his name and opened a restaurant that harks back to a mythic American time of land barons and oil magnates. Welcome to the chop house of excess, where meat comes in mighty aged slabs and fish comes in fresh ... slabs. And the slabs are all the choicest cuts, cooked perfectly, whether charbroiled, pan-seared or sautéed. You choose the sauce --- from beurre blanc to ketchup chutney --- to clothe your naked meats. Brennan’s newest spot, all wood and leather, took over the space that was An American Place in The Benjamin hotel.
