![]() : Named for Rome’s Trevi Fountain, this restaurant has a spacious patio that is ideal for people-watching and is enhanced by the sight and sounds of Caesars’ fountains and statuary. Featured in the dining room are a flashy bright orange cylindrical chandelier, a massive wine rack built into one wall, a 27-seat bar and an open kitchen. Among signature dishes are the calamari fritti appetizer with tomato-caper sauce, and chicken salad (field greens tossed with grilled chicken, artichoke hearts and arugula in a warm pancetta balsamic dressing). Both pizza and pasta lovers will be satisfied with the deep-dish lasagna pizza with layers of Italian sausage, ricotta and mozzarella and tangy pomarola sauce. Vegetarians will go for the cheese-filled ravioli with vodka tomato cream sauce. Among specialty pastas is linguine ai frutti di mare with lobster, shrimp, scallops, tomatoes and scallions in a seafood cream sauce. Beef tenderloin with red wine mushroom sauce comes with risotto, and is so tender it could be cut with a butter knife. Save room for the spaghetti ice, composed of vanilla and chocolate gelato and strawberry sauce, that looks exactly like spaghetti and meatballs. |
