THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Amori Restaurant Review:

The former Amici Manhattan changed names and ownership in 2003, but kept the same chef and most of the menu items. The name change was a good idea since they were consistently mistaken for nearby Michi’s, which offers very different food at three times the price. Amori has become well-known for Tuscan classics in a cozy atmosphere, and though desserts have been somewhat dull, the excellent starters and main courses make this place well worth visiting. Try the eggplant rolled with fresh basil and cheese, the spaghetti with grilled lobster and crab meat, or the artichoke and hearts of palm salad with lemon-Parmesan dressing. The wine list is all Italian and fairly priced.
