 This unassuming, longtime Eagle Rock eatery sports a quaint décor consisting of ceiling fans, colorful plastic tablecloths and framed vintage menus. It may be best known for its brownies and coconut cupcakes (reputedly in demand by visiting celebrities) but the fresh salads and sandwiches make for good lunches. Consider the roasted vegetable sandwich on La Brea Bakery bread. Salads offered as specials have included tuna-avocado and roasted beets with goat cheese. Eagle Rock is lucky to have Auntie Em's.
