A small corps of Pasadenans rely on this tiny place for its café au lait and croissants. It's got plenty of charm, with its framed black-and-white pictures of Art Nouveau Metro stops and vintage Doisneau photos. In addition to the pastries, the shop offers thin-crusted pizzas, soups, salads, sandwiches and solid breakfasts. To impress your dinner party guests, take away one of the shop's Opera or Princess cakes.

I love Aux Delices! Its such a quaint, cute little cafe nestled in the perfect setting of Old Town Pasadena. I say this because when I go there, I can easily sit with my coffee/tea and my crepe [or sometimes a sandwich] and people-watch comfortably. It's great for a Saturday or Sunday relaxing morning breakfast. I love that when you order a sandwich, they serve that delicious little curly red green and yellow pasta with it instead of fries or something like most other places do. Sometimes the waitress can have a little attitude, but mostly when I go there, I have a comfortable cafe experience. Mostly, I love the Parisian influence in this wonderful little cafe. Lovely.
