THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Japadog Restaurant Review:

What started out as a food cart in Vancouver is now a hoppin’ hot dog eatery in the East Village. As one can guess from the name, the game here is Japanese-accented hot dogs. There are over a dozen to choose from, including a very good spicy dog topped with palate-burning relish and a croquette-stuffed hot dog (made from pork and with a satisfying snap). Other dogs are topped with okra or daikon or seaweed. Sometimes the toppings take away from the flavor of the dog, but then again, it’s a tradition to pile toppings on hot dogs. After all, who eats a hot dog plain?
