About the restaurant: Famed French pastry boutique Ladurée established its Los Angeles flagship in Beverly Hills. The rectangular space is anchored by a retail counter where patrons can purchase the infamous and colorful macarons, pastries, teas and gift boxes. There are several tables in the front, as well as booths in the back, for enjoying breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or early dinner amid the whimsical décor. Giant flowers, with petals made of mirrors, punctuate the pastel walls and ceiling.
Food & Drinks: Morning fare includes organic omelets, croissants, French toast and homemade yogurt. Lunchtime and early dinner bring more extensive offerings, ranging from salads and sandwiches to larger plates such as lobster linguini and roasted salmon. Ice cream sundaes, éclairs, cakes and, of course, those aforementioned macarons, vie for attention when it comes time to decide on dessert. There are also prix-fixe menus for brunch and tea time.
