No. 7 Sub Restaurant Review:

Tyler Kord, who gained attention for his Brooklyn restaurant No. 7, takes it to Manhattan with this intoxicating sandwich shop. Attached to the Ace Hotel New York, this tiny spot---there are no chairs, no tables---has ten ever-changing sandwiches available. All of them include an ingredient or two that make deciding on one of them impossible. The savory taste of the lamb meatloaf sandwich is buttressed with strawberry pico de gallo and curried crema; the broccoli sandwich includes fried lemon and a peanuty-Thai basil; the roast turkey is stuffed with pickled melon. The soft bread comes from Korn’s bakery in Brooklyn. On nice days, take your sandwiches three blocks down to Madison Square Park.
